🚌 For a group of young students, a school day turned into an unforgettable safari adventure.🦒 Students from Thomas E. Kerns Elementary stepped outside their textbooks and into the world of wildlife, thanks to the incredible educators at TEK and our ScanSource/Intelisys volunteers. “From the classroom to real life with animals and their habitats, students’ learning thrived,” shared Janelle Thomas, K4 Teacher. And thriving they were, eyes wide with wonder, questions pouring out, and curiosity leading the way. For ScanSource’s Cate Tyson, the day held a special meaning. “I love our little Greenville Zoo and have fond memories of taking my children there when they were little. Supporting the staff at TEK is always rewarding, but the most meaningful part of this experience was being there for the students and showing them that their community cares enough to show up and have some fun.” This is what community looks like, supporting one another, creating moments that matter, and showing up for kids who need it most. We’re grateful to have been part of this special day. ❤️
