The typical vendor relationship in insurance is: Company A needs X ---> Vendor A delivers X when asked That carrier<>vendor relationship will break down quickly around CAT claims. The scale and enormity of the problem will expose all the bugs - and it can get ugly for both parties. For example, when a carrier needs their vendor call center to handle a surge of 500 calls how can they know it can be done? On May 1 at 10am ET we will be conducting a Linkedin LIVE webinar to discuss exactly how to do this and why you need to. Join Brendan Voss, Chief Claims Officer of ShoreOne Insurance Managers, Inc., Nicole Preston, Director of Client Experience at FOCUS Insurance Group, Peter Crowe, President of FOCUS, and Aaron Getty, President of Joe Taylor Restoration as we discuss how vendors and carriers can align to be fully storm ready and prepared for the upcoming 2025 hurricane season. You will learn: - Do you have your TPAs, restoration firms, call centers, and other services in place NOW (and why you need to think about this as a year round problem)? - Can they scale and contract as necessary? - Have you given vendors daily work so they fully understand your systems and processes? - How should you be managing the preparation for these services? How are you simulating and stress testing intra-company AND inter-company systems? - How will frequent of severe storms test the fragility of your processes and workflows? - What budgetary considerations should you consider? Join us LIVE - ask questions, engage (imbibe...it's 10am, so coffee & tea 😉) REGISTER AND WATCH HERE: https://lnkd.in/eeWZ6vUe

The storm was barreling towards him and in real time, Alen Burger, CEO of InfoSlips and communications expert, got a first hand experience of how poor communication juxtaposed with great communication changes the volatility of a customer's anxiety. As Hurricane Milton raced towards Alen and his family, and as they planned to evacuate, Alen got two sets of messages - one that was personalized and one that was not. One that reassured him and one that made him more anxious. And the lessons here for insurers are clear as day - the personalized messages are the way to go if you want to reduce customer anxiety and raise the trust levels. This increase loyalty and trust. It also reduces the need for the claimant to seek representation. But what does personalized mean? How can insurers execute on this. You will learn that in this LinkedIn Live Webinar Roundtable as Alen join communications experts Mia Papanicolaou and Elizabeth Stephen from Chameleon Collective as the discuss the actual hurricane events as they unfolded, how a communications expert processed information, and the lessons learned from that. You will learn practical steps to simplify your client communications when the stakes and emotions are high. The LIVE webinar is on Thursday May 15th at 1pm ET/ 10am PT. It will be moderated by Leslie Sapienza, VP at OSG (also the sponsor for this webinar) and 🇺🇸 Nick Lamparelli. Register below.
