Spring is in the air, and our VTOL #UAS are popping up everywhere, including our proving grounds in Pendleton, OR. #DYK that while Insitu UAS have over 1.5 million operational (mostly combat) flight hours, we're constantly innovating new technologies like our VTOL auto-launch feature, alt-nav for GPS-denied airspace, and more?

#ICYMI A couple of weeks ago a detachment of 12 Benelux soldiers arrived in Kosovo to join KFOR as part of the KFOR-UAS effort, tasked with conducting reconnaissance operations using the Integrator Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). https://lnkd.in/gvP8nXNr

Flying a #UAS on heavy fuel (aka the jet fuel used by militaries around the globe) isn't easy. We should know... we've been doing it since 2008. Since then we have upgraded our engines on both ScanEagle and Integrator many times to make them more reliable and increase endurance and payload capacity (including onboard edge compute power). That's why our UAS continue to fly farther, longer, and with more capability than the competition.

#DYK that the U.S. Coast Guard is the 12th largest navy in the world? Their statutory missions include ice operations, search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, drug/migrant interdiction, fisheries law enforcement, and marine safety, among others. ScanEagle #UAS has flown over 9,500 operational hours in support of these missions since first deploying on the USCGC Stratton. We are incredibly proud to support these many important USCG missions in challenging environments around the globe.

107 vlieguren in 10 vluchten, waarbij de langste vlucht 18 uur was. Het AS peloton van 107 heeft zichzelf super goed op de kaart gezet tijdens de brigade oefening in Tsjechië. De rapportages en beelden hebben een belangrijke bedrage geleverd. De Air verhicle operators hebben zich bewezen als ware top piloten. De omstandigheden waren zeer uitdagend door terrein en het weer waarbij alle ervaring uit de kast gehaald moesten worden. Een zware beproeving voor onze nieuwste AVO’r voor wie het zijn eerste echte solo vluchten waren, heel knap dat hij dit niveau liet zien. Ook de dienjaar collega’s hebben hun meerwaarde en vaardigheden laten zien. Deze toppers hebben de vluchten absoluut mede mogelijk gemaakt en ze doen niks onder voor het vaste bestand. Ik ben super trots op wat ons team tijdens deze oefening heeft laten zien. Wil jij komen werken bij deze fijne eenheid waar je ervaringen op doet op het gebied UAV's . Ik doe voor de werving graag een beroep op jullie en jullie netwerk: wil jij of ken jij iemand die of wil komen vliegen bij ons als onderofficier of als sergeant specialist. Maar ook zoeken we kpl’s als ground crew / sensor operator. Ben jij die nieuwe collega neem dan even contact met mij op dan kunnen we kijken wat er mogelijk is. Maritime borders are vast, remote, and incredibly costly to patrol with human pilots. Long-endurance ScanEagle #UAS has a proven track record of detecting, identifying and tracking threats along our maritime borders and beyond, including even the stealthiest low-profile and semi-submersible drug trafficking vessels. Equipped with the latest AI-assisted payloads and C2 software, ScanEagle would be an ideal low-cost asset to strengthen our national #BorderSecurity efforts and keep America safe.

"On April 1, 2025, the Italian Ministry of Defense authorized a new contractual action to acquire an additional U.S.-made MQ-27 ScanEagle unmanned aerial system (UAS) for integration aboard two FREMM-class naval units. This acquisition falls under the operational requirement defined by the Italian Navy in 2022 to enhance Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities through the deployment of light and tactical-class shipborne UAS. It also represents a continuation of the initial ScanEagle integration program, which began with a U.S. Purchase Order (No. 2565 and amendments) that is still in execution."
