Thanks to our friends at Tradesman for helping with this "small summary" of current Fraudemic related suits here in NY. It should be as incredibly alarming to our legislators as it is to our industry that we have over 24 cases filed within the last 18 months, related to fraud and/or RICO. This is not all of the cases and does not represent other states and all the industries that are being impacted by this national Fraudemic. We have had discussions with carriers, employers, and government entities in other states, and it is difficult to fathom how this issue has been allowed to develop into the $308 billion problem it has across the nation. Complacency got us here, collaboration will get us out.
