Recap from the Financial Times’ #CommoditiesSummit: President of ICE Futures Europe, Christopher Rhodes, joined a panel discussion on the evolving landscape of commodity trade finance, covering the impact of risk, rates, liquidity and inflation on derivatives markets. During the panel, ICE announced plans to launch battery metal futures this year, including lithium, cobalt and spodumene contracts, subject to regulatory review.    “We’re launching hedging tools for battery metals as more of our customers trade these products and need access to a liquid futures market.
