As Hispanic Heritage month comes to an end we’d like to remind our Latinas that everyday is a reason to celebrate you ✨ Did you know: -60% of For Her’s Community members are Hispanic? -Latinas have the third highest labor force participation rate among women in Texas at 58% -Latinas in Texas have been critical in the fight for civil rights, women’s suffrage, and economic and racial justice. Women such as Jovita Idár, Emma Tenayuca, and Irma Rangel fought against social injustice and discrimination to improve outcomes and opportunities for Mexican-Americans and other marginalized communities.
