Hyer Boots Continues Revival of Legacy with The Comeback Campaign Founded by fifth-generation shoemaker and craftsman, C.H. Hyer, the family lost the business in the 1970s before launching a remarkable comeback in 2023, when Zach Lawless, the great-great-grandson of C.H. Hyer, reclaimed the HYER Boots name.  Since then, Lawless has been on a mission to revitalize and energize the brand with an emphasis on expert craftsmanship, durable construction, and a passion for the western lifestyle. The company has key developments underway to restore this legendary brand. “To celebrate our first full year back in business, we are excited to kick off this meaningful and inspirational campaign - we want people to interact with it. The Comeback speaks to our real backstory: the heritage, the loss, and our determination to revive the business with a focus on real cowboys and cowgirls. It’s a story that is 100% American and very relatable.” - Zach Lawless, CEO

  • Before inventing the cowboy boot, C.H Hyer found himself at the Kansas School for the Deaf, imparting his knowledge of shoe and last making to eager students. As the son of a German immigrant, C.H. inherited a rich legacy of craftsmanship, and he was determined to share this heritage with the next generation. Yet, his vision extended beyond mere instruction; he recognized the potential to empower his students economically. Read the full story in this weeks blog: https://lnkd.in/dp79fN2n
