Hy-Line International and Hybrid Poultry of Zambia collaborated recently to hold a Farmers Training Day in Lusaka, Zambia. Egg farmers in attendance learned about best practices for biosecurity, critical management points for gaining the genetic potential of the Hy-Line Brown Max commercial layer, and the importance of accurate record-keeping to make data-driven decisions regarding layer management. Mr. Sujeewa Loku Waduge, Paul Kabaiko of Hy-Line, and Dr. Matteo of Hybrid led the seminar. Consistent knowledge-sharing is an important responsibility to assist egg producers in optimizing their results with Hy-Line layers.
