We're thrilled to announce the release of High Point Discovered: The Magazine - Volume 4, and we are also pleased to report the resounding success of our Magazine Launch Party, which welcomed over 200 attendees from across our business community, nonprofit sector, educational institutions, and civic leadership. The evening at High Point City Lake Park featured compelling remarks from Mayor Cyril Jefferson and Tiffany Fisher-Southerland (business owner and HPD board member), who highlighted the importance of storytelling in strengthening our community's economic and social fabric. This networking opportunity created meaningful connections between diverse stakeholders while showcasing the impactful work of organizations like High Point Schools Partnership, Carolina Core FC, and Keep High Point Beautiful. This honor came because High Point proved that our city demonstrates transformative, community-driven efforts to strengthen democracy through local action and innovation. Through initiatives like the City of High Point rebrand, Thrive (the minority entrepreneur initiative of Business High Point) and the Greater High Point Food Alliance, our team demonstrated to the nation that High Point is a place where community voices matter.
