As part of the Make America Healthy Again agenda, Secretary Kennedy and Secretary Rollins visited Ferdinand T. Day Elementary School in Alexandria, Virginia, today to tour its innovative school lunch program. They saw firsthand how the school provides nutritious meals and empowers students to make healthy choices — both in and out of the classroom. We will eliminate an entire alphabet soup of departments, while preserving their core functions by merging them into a new organization called the Administration for a Healthy America or AHA. This overhaul will improve the health of the entire nation — to Make America Healthy Again.

I had a wonderful visit at a Head Start program in Alexandria, Virginia today. As we celebrate National Nutrition Month, HHS is reinforcing its commitment to Make America Healthy Again by prioritizing healthy eating and nutrition for Head Start grantees. We are encouraging programs to switch from low-fat dairy – which the antiquated Dietary Guidelines require them to promote – to full fat/whole milk.
