Our team was excited to celebrate a construction milestone with Wieland for the groundbreaking of their $500 million Modernization & Expansion Project in East Alton, alongside IL Governor JB Pritzker. The plans include adding a state-of-the-art hot rolling mill that will enable Wieland to increase and improve the production of essential copper and copper alloy components. This investment reinforces Wieland’s commitment to technological advancement, sustainability, and supporting key industries like automotive, defense, and energy infrastructure.
