About us
The Hartford Dental Society (HDS), a 501 (c) 6 nonprofit organization, and a component society of the Connecticut State Dental Association, was established in 1899, with a mission to cultivate the science and art of dentistry, elevate and sustain the professional character of its members, and disseminate knowledge pertaining to the advancement of health. Approximately 500 active and retired dentists in the Greater Hartford Area currently hold tripartite membership with HDS, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. HDS is governed by a dedicated board of directors and professionally managed by S&S Management Services, headquartered in Bloomfield, CT.
