Recently, we had an opportunity to invite some of our supporters to an exclusive pre-screening of the upcoming documentary “Cat’s in the Cradle: The Song that Changed Our Lives" at Alamo Drafthouse Naples. After the screening, Executive Producer Jason Chapin (Harry’s son) joined our President/CEO Richard LeBer and Board Vice Chair Carolyn “Cat” Tieger for a VIP panel discussing the film and food insecurity in Southwest Florida. Help fight hunger and prevent food waste! 🗑️ Lee County Solid Waste’s 8th Annual “Donated Not Wasted” food rescue campaign is collecting unopened pantry items to benefit Harry Chapin Food Bank in partnership with Lee County, FL Library, Sanibel Public Library, and Lee County Parks & Recreation. Since starting, over 38,700 pounds of food have been saved – providing 32,200+ meals! Drop off donations of canned or dry goods at participating locations from April 7–21. We’re honored to support seniors in Southwest Florida through our Care and Share senior feeding program, which provides monthly meal kits to those facing food insecurity. 🍽️ Since its launch in 2017, the program has grown to serve over 2,600 seniors every month.
