The Deutsche Bank team were absolute troopers today building with us through the rain! These amazing volunteers brought enough helping hands to power two construction sites—one in Raleigh and one in Clayton. We’re so grateful for their dedication and support, year after year. Thank you for building alongside us and helping make our work possible!

About us
Qualified homebuyers partner with Habitat Wake to buy safe, affordable homes. Homebuyers take homeowner education classes and complete 200 'sweat equity' hours building their home and the homes of their neighbors. Upon completion of construction, partner families pay an affordable mortgage. Our model is made possible by sponsors, individual donors, volunteers, and ReStore shoppers. Proceeds from our ten ReStore locations (Apex, Brier Creek, Cary, Clayton, Durham-Chapel Hill, Fuquay Varina, Glenwood Avenue, Hillsborough, Raleigh Boulevard in Raleigh, and Wake Forest) benefit Habitat Wake's mission. ReStores salvage used materials for repurpose and reuse. #TogetherWeBuild

There is well-documented research demonstrating the profound impact of housing stability on physical and mental health. Habitat Wake Homebuyer Sharon Watson knows this firsthand. Over the past year, Sharon has undergone three surgeries while navigating various living arrangements. She believes that the uncertainty surrounding her housing played a major role in her health challenges. Read her story here: https://lnkd.in/eQKEUzzk

A huge shoutout to Builders Mutual for partnering with us on today’s first official Women Build event of the year! 💪🏡We can’t wait for the rest of this spring’s Women Build events! This inclusive program unites anyone who identifies as a woman, along with their allies, to help break down gendered barriers to homeownership and support Habitat's mission.
