The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is excited to partner with two key players in connected infrastructure— Cavnue and HAAS Alert—join forces to enhance road safety and advance the future of mobility. Through this collaboration, Cavnue’s smart road technology along Michigan’s I-94 Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) Corridor will integrate with HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud® platform, delivering real-time digital alerts to drivers. These alerts will provide crucial extra seconds to react to hazards, helping prevent crashes and improve situational awareness. As MDOT Director Bradley C. Wieferich stated: "Combining HAAS Alert’s real-time safety alerts and Cavnue’s smart road technology will accelerate MDOT’s work to improve safety and lay the foundation for the future of mobility."
