🎉 Congratulations to our CEO, Dawn Montecalvo, on graduating from the Florida Early Childhood Advocacy Fellowship (FECAF)! 👏 At Guadalupe Center, we believe that advocacy is essential to creating lasting change for children and families. Dawn’s participation in this year-long fellowship is a testament to our commitment to shaping a brighter future for the early learning workforce and the students we serve. Through FECAF—led by the Children’s Forum and supported by the Bainum Family Foundation—Dawn joined a network of passionate leaders dedicated to advancing early childhood education across Florida. The program equips fellows with the tools, connections, and knowledge to influence policy and elevate the needs of children at the local, state, and national levels. We’re proud to be part of this powerful movement and deeply grateful for Dawn’s leadership in helping ensure that every child has access to high-quality early learning opportunities. 💛 #GuadalupeCenter #EarlyLearning #ChildAdvocacy #FECAF #Leadership #StrongerTogether #BainumFoundation #ChildrensForum #InvestInEducation #FutureStartsNow

Without art, the eARTh would just be 'eh'! Happy World Art Day and shoutout to our incredible art and music teacher, Mr. Jonathan! He recently transformed our art room at our van Otterloo campus into a beautiful gallery to show off our students' masterpieces. 🎨😍 Not only that, but he's doing it again at our Morgridge campus! Join us on Tuesday, April 22 3- 5 PM for another evening of beautiful art created by our VPK students. 👨🏾🎨👩🏽🎨 #GuadalupeCenter #WorldArtDay #Artist #ArtTeacher #ArtGallery #ArtShow #StudentArt

In a recent survey sent to parents of our After- school Tutoring program students, we found that 94% of our parents rely on our program for providing a safe- space for their children after the school bell rings. 🏫 For many families, this program provides more than just homework help—it offers peace of mind knowing their children are in: 🍎 A safe space to learn and grow 🍎 A safe space to build confidence 🍎 A safe space to simply be a kid #GuadalupeCenter #AfterSchoolTutoring #AfterSchoolMatters

Smiling our way through this #FamilyFriday of this year's #WeekOfTheYoungChild with Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) as we near our VPK graduation in just over a month. We’re stepping up for early learners! 🚶🏽♀️👟 This week, during the Week of the Young Child, we’re proud to join Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) ’s 'Every Step Counts' Challenge to raise awareness about the power of early childhood education. According to Heckman’s Equation, every $1 invested in high-quality early learning can yield up to $7–$13 in return. That’s a step (and an investment) worth taking! 📈🤩 #GuadalupeCenter #GuadalupeStepsUp #EveryStepCounts #EarlyLearningMatters #HeckmanEquation #FLAEYC

Happy #ArtsyThursday of this year's #WeekOfTheYoungChild. Students in our VPK Zebra classroom loved exploring and practicing their colors as they created their own polka dot leopard crafts based off of the silly 'Put Me In The Zoo' book by Robert Lopshire. 🎨 Alongside practicing colors and the array of sight words in Put Me In The Zoo, students learned a valuable lesson in self-expression and acceptance, patience, and perseverance. Talk about a win- win! 🤩 #GuadalupeCenter #WOYC25 #EarlyLearningMatters #FLAEYC #GuadalupeStepsUp Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC)
