Data vs. Information - and why it's important to make the distinction 🤓 Too often we see sensors transmitting far more than needed: firmware versions, config settings, protocol metadata… when all the user really wanted was a single key data point, e.g. a temperature reading. Why? Because in cellular IoT, data is cheap. There’s been no reason to optimize. But with satellite - and especially as NTN NB-IoT services come online - every byte matters.
