Last year, our Sustainability Team launched a 6-month North America Waste Competition to help drive progress toward our 2025 and 2030 waste reduction goals—and the results are in! Congratulations to the 12 facilities that successfully maintained a 90% diversion rate for three straight months, reducing landfill waste from 13% to just 4%! Together, participating plants diverted an extra 35,000 tons of waste from landfills through creative and committed local efforts.
