Greenville is thriving—but we know there’s still untapped potential. In 2023 alone, more than $5 billion in economic activity was left unrealized. The Accelerate initiative is here to change that. Accelerate is designed to drive new opportunities, increased investment, and shared prosperity across the region. Businesses that get involved aren’t just supporting Greenville’s future—they’re playing an active role in shaping it. Accelerate co-Chair Gage Weekes explains why investing in Accelerate is investing in a more competitive, innovative, and economically strong Greenville. Let’s build that future—together. Greenville Chamber reposted this
A joint statement from OneSpartanburg, Inc. and Greenville Chamber in response to comments by White House trade advisor Peter Navarro: "BMW Group's Plant Spartanburg drove Upstate South Carolina's transformation from a declining textile economy to a thriving center of advanced manufacturing. Its 26.7-billion-dollar economic impact outperforms other major industries, multiplying across a vast network of in-state suppliers producing parts in Spartanburg, Greenville, and beyond. BMW is responsible for Upstate South Carolina's density of engineering, supply chain, and logistics jobs, and has contributed to drastic quality of life and infrastructure improvements across our region. To put it simply, BMW's approach has worked for Upstate South Carolina for nearly four decades. The people of our region, state, and nation have prospered due to BMW's investment, and in turn, those people have helped BMW build its most productive manufacturing facility in the world."

At our 136th Annual Meeting, we had the honor of recognizing an outstanding leader in our community—Mattie Lee, our Young Professional of the Year! Mattie is a true example of dedication and impact. As an Associate Marketing Manager of Brand Development at the American Heart Association, she works to drive meaningful change, and she continues to give back through her community involvement outside of work. A self-described “wearer of many hats,” Mattie’s contributions to Greenville’s professional and civic landscape make her a worthy recipient of this award. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved recognition! #YoungProfessionalOfTheYear #Leadership #GreenvilleChamber #CommunityImpact Greenville Chamber Young Professionals

Thanks, UBJ, for sharing about our survey! We encourage everyone to check it out.
Greenville Chamber's inaugural Upstate Business Confidence Index survey has yielded an unsurprising snapshot of how area businesses feel about the economic outlook for this year: it’s “unsettled, uncertain and uneven.” https://lnkd.in/ejZuSx-P

We're pausing at the beginning of April to say "thank you" to some of our most important relationships. Our work to build a globally competitive Upstate economy wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of our investors. Their support drives economic growth, strengthens our business community, and helps create opportunities that move our region forward. This month, we’re celebrating these invaluable partnerships and the shared vision that fuels our work. To every investor who believes in the future of Greenville—thank you for being part of this journey. #GreenvilleChamber #InvestorAppreciation #EconomicGrowth #StrongerTogether
