At Design Services, our Quality Control (QC) helps clients minimize revisions and expedite the turnaround process. In one as-built project, we encountered conflicting client instructions to deliver as-built plans and show interconnection as a line side tap (SS1). Upon reviewing the installation document, we confirmed that the interconnection was actually a load side tap between the meter-main and distribution panel. Additionally, we discovered that a non-fused disconnect was added and the equipment had been relocated.
