NEW: NSF Green Bank Telescope Gets a New Coat of Protection Did you know that paint acts as a protective barrier on telescopes? 🎨📡 This vital repainting project will help protect GBT from the elements and extend the structure's lifespan. Thanks to funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF), we’re able to begin the first phase of this maintenance project this year (anticipated May-September 2025). https://lnkd.in/dqysGf_S
