Congratulations, David! David has been with GTP for 7 years and currently works as an Electronics Specialist in the Maintenance Department. He has an associate’s degree in electrical technology. His peers appreciate that he’s always willing to work with others and keeps a positive attitude while completing tasks. He makes sure that every job is completed, and the department is satisfied with his work. While change has been a constant during his career, those that work with him commend his ability to adapt and perform to exemplary standards. He demonstrates a high level of commitment to communication, going above and beyond to ensure continuity of information to other shifts and making himself available to assist throughout the plant. He takes care to practice safety in various areas, making sure all work is completed safely and effectively. He is also an emergency response team member and able to assist around the plant in emergency situations. Congratulations, Peyton! Peyton has been with GTP for 3 years and currently works as a Machinist Apprentice. She started as a temporary employee in the machine shop and has been in the apprentice program for the last 2 years. Her peers recognize her for her positive attitude, calm demeanor, and willingness to learn new tasks. Peyton is ready to take the lead when needed and is always looking to help however she can. She sets a positive example when it comes to safety, keeping her work area clean and asking questions in order to complete a job safely and correctly. Peyton is a pleasure to work with and an asset to the machine shop. Peyton enjoys hunting and horseback riding and is happiest when she is spending time with her family and friends. Someday she would love to travel to Africa and her motto in life is “If you can dream it, do it.” Peyton enjoys coming into work each day because it provides her with vast opportunities to learn new skills. He resides in Towanda with his spouse and two children. In his free time, Michael loves to hunt and fish. He enjoys working at GTP because he gets to work with a great group of people. Those who work with Michael say that he takes his job responsibilities very seriously and has terrific work ethic. They find that he is very enjoyable to work with as he has a great attitude and fun personality. He is always timely with his orders, gets the job done correctly, and keeps the small parts room running efficiently. Michael also demonstrates a high regard for safety in his role at GTP. Congratulations, L.j., for being named GTP’s October Employee of the Month! 🎉🙌 L.j. has been with GTP for 5 years and works as an Electronics Specialist. He currently resides in Asylum Township and obtained his education in the military. L.j.’s peers describe him as being cordial, reliable, and hardworking. He is well organized in all areas, whether it be his own workspace, plant equipment, or when maintaining up-to-date certifications. He upholds plant policies and safety standards and looks to improve current safety practices when possible. L.j. will lend a helping hand to anyone without hesitation. His efforts have benefited multiple departments throughout the facility including our plant fire brigade, which he regularly runs/assists. L.j. enjoys hunting, hiking, motorcycle riding and is happiest when he is going on new adventures with his family. He currently belongs to various organizations outside of work including four different fire departments in the area, the Amvets, the American Legion, and the Antique Automobile Club of America.
