Updates

  • As we continue to celebrate our new brand image, we reflect on what it means to be a family business. Through over 90 years of growth, we are proud to maintain true, authentic caring for our people at every level of the business. Global Partners is excited by the opportunity to embrace the rapidly changing industry ahead of us, knowing that our commitment to our values will lead the way.

  • We’re focused on the future—aligning our organization, strengthening our leadership pipeline, and refining the processes that will drive long-term success for Global and our employees.   At The RBL Group’s Human Capability Exchange on April 23, Eric Slifka, President & CEO, and Catie Kerns, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, will share how we’re evolving our culture and capabilities to support our continued growth. From streamlining systems to developing talent and leadership, we’re positioning Global for the future while staying true to what makes us successful.   We’re excited to be part of this conversation on transformation, leadership, and business strategy!

  • This year, we elevated our annual company party by introducing a new tradition, The Golden Globals, an awards ceremony recognizing the dedication, innovation, and teamwork that drive Global forward. The nominations poured in, with employees celebrating their colleagues’ hard work, leadership, and impact.  Awards ceremony aside, the night was about coming together, reflecting on our achievements, and celebrating the progress we’ve made. From the recognition of individual contributions to the collective success of our teams, this event captured the spirit of Global. We’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the incredible talent that makes up Global Partners and look forward to continuing to recognize our employees’ hard work and dedication as we grow, move and thrive together. #TheGoldenGlobals #EnergyAtWork

Founded in Boston in 1933, Global Partners has always been rooted in the region’s rich history of innovation and growth. This recognition is a direct reflection of the dedication, innovation, and strategic focus of our team. Emphasizing prescriptive growth through deliberate acquisitions, investments, and optimization efforts, we continue to expand into new markets, leverage our existing infrastructure, and enhance synergies that support long-term growth. • Safety is at the core of what we do, and we’re proud to support the first responders who help protect our communities.   At our South Terminals, we’ve partnered with local fire departments to enhance their training and resources. In Spartanburg, SC, we donated $7,500 to the South Spartanburg Fire Department to expand their fire foam inventory and response capabilities. In Apex, NC, our donation will send two firefighters to the Williams Extreme Industrial Fire & Hazard Control Training School, equipping them with advanced skills to handle fire events in the petroleum industry.   We're grateful for the dedication of these firefighters and honored to support their mission to keep our communities safe.

  • This week, in honor of Women’s History Month, W.A.V.E. (Women Add Value Everyday) hosted an afternoon of tapas, cocktails, and candid conversation with Catie Kerns, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. From trusting the process to championing transformation, Catie offered a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to lead at scale, while staying true to the culture that makes Global unique.   “I’m in awe of how the women at Global show up to support each other,” said Jackie H., Vice President, Business IT, and W.A.V.E. Co-Chair. “We’ve been so lucky to have the opportunity to talk openly, honestly, and authentically with one another. • Throughout February, our Black, African & African American employee resource group, Roots, brought employees together to celebrate, learn, and honor Black history and culture.   ▪️ Black History Month Basketball Games – Employees across our regions attended special game nights to celebrate the contributions of Black athletes and pioneers   ▪️ Black History Bingo – A fun, interactive way to share knowledge about influential Black figures.   ▪️ Paint & Sip – With the help of Modern Party Art, a Black-owned business in Boston, members created artwork together to commemorate the month and its significance.   A huge thank you to Roots for organizing these meaningful experiences and to everyone who joined in! Let’s continue to celebrate and uplift Black history, culture, and achievements every day.
