  • Friday Feature: Gold Award Girl Scouts! The Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting—earned by Girl Scouts who take the lead in identifying an issue, solving it with sustainable impact, and inspiring others to act. This week, we're spotlighting four remarkable Gold Award Girl Scouts whose leadership and compassion are changing lives: Ansley B. supported female veterans experiencing homelessness by collecting enough donations to assemble more than 80 care kits filled with essential hygiene products often missing from standard aid packages. Elyse C. combined her love of the environment and time with her grandparents to launch Planting for Pollinators, building raised planters and hosting an Earth Day celebration at a senior living community where residents now care for pollinator-friendly flowers. Jada E. addressed the social-emotional needs of elementary-aged immigrant youth in Atlanta by developing a craft-based curriculum that builds confidence, empathy, and self-worth in an after-school program. Ann K. created a similar curriculum to empower children in an immigrant community through art and emotional learning—and is also being recognized at the 404 Day Scholarship Gala (Butter.ATL) for her impactful work. These Girl Scouts are more than leaders—they are changemakers using their passions to create a better, brighter future. 💚👏 #GoldAward #GirlScoutsLead

  • ✨ Together, we dreamed big and made an even bigger impact. ✨ Last Saturday, nearly 400 guests joined us at the Delta Flight Museum for Night of a Million Dreams, a powerful evening honoring the courage, confidence, and character of today’s Girl Scouts and three trailblazing women who lead with those same values: Chloe Barzey, Yglesias Hollins, and Morgan Shaw Parker. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised nearly half a MILLION dollars to support girls across Greater Atlanta, ensuring every girl can access the full Girl Scout experience, regardless of her circumstances. From membership and uniforms to summer camp and leadership programs, your support opens doors for girls to discover their strengths and dream without limits. We’re especially grateful to our top sponsors: Chick-fil-A Restaurants, The Coca-Cola Company, Georgia Power Company, Fiserv and Publix Super Markets And to our generous supporters: Delta Air Lines, Greenberg Traurig, Holder Moody Bryson & Sovereign, Ernst & Young, Fran Gary, Shan Cooper, Graphic Packaging, Kaiser Permanente, New South Construction, Nexus Cognitive, Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, Primerica, SouthState Bank, and The Facilities Group. 📸 Relive the magic: https://bit.ly/4iX4GTK Your support fuels her future.
