Will 2025's hurricane season be similar to 2024? The just-released Colorado State University forecast predicts 17 named storms, nine hurricanes and four major hurricanes this year. Here's how 2024 compared. Are you prepared?

Some areas of the country are enjoying tulips and spring sunshine, while northern states are still escaping winter, with #IceStorms and #snow ❄️ causing power outages. But Frank - a Generac customer in Michigan - showed us how he's ready for any weather. "Currently, my family is staying warm, washed, and fed thanks to your product. The Northern Michigan Ice Storms are light work now. Thank you! Best generator in the game." Stay safe, Frank! We're glad we can provide you peace of mind with a reliable backup power solution during any weather.

🚨 Not an #AprilFools! The World Meteorological Association confirmed 2024 was the warmest year on record, and we've already had the warmest January on record in 2025. Meanwhile, Phoenix just shattered a heat record, topping 99° - in March! As we adjust to changing temperatures by turning up our fans and AC, we strain the grid. Do you have a backup power plan? The creative sparks were flying for our #GeneracLove contest, and we love how you powered up your photos and videos. There were many amazing entries - and it was hard to choose our finalists, but here they are! Congrats to Dillon M. and Andrew H.! We also had an internal version of this contest for employees, so a big shout out to Marie C. and Bryce C. for their entries as well!

Everyone thinks about getting a #generator when a #storm is in the rearview, but the best time is really before the forecast darkens.

In January, wildfires swept through Southern California, destroying many homes and upending lives. You may not know that Generac had an office in the Pacific Palisades as well - home to part of our Clean Energy team. This is what remains. This isn’t about losing a building – or the years of work, research and equipment inside. This was a moment that showcased resilience of our people and our company. From ensuring employees had what they needed – housing, financial assistance and access to counseling – to an employee offering up his warehouse as a temporary workspace, to coming together as a team to clean, order equipment and set up operations. That’s in addition to employees helping each other and their neighbors with other day-to-day needs. Within three weeks, the team was back to building, testing and shipping products to take care of our customers. The building burned, but the Generac sign still stood. A symbol that together, we can rise from the ashes.
