GCS-SIGAL's history with sustainable building practices dates back to the early 1990's when then SIGAL Construction employee, David Gottfried, was a founding member of the U.S. Green Building Council. GCS-SIGAL has remained deeply committed to sustainable building practices, delivering dozens of LEED-certified projects and helping shape the DC region into the nation’s healthiest, greenest, and most livable metro area.
