Last year we announced the scope of our independently-audited Safety Assessment Framework encompassing our entire safety ecosystem, and underscoring Gatik’s commitment to undertaking the most rigorous external evaluation ever conducted on an Autonomous Driving System. Today, we announced that we have successfully closed two major pillars of this assessment: both the Safety Case Framework Evaluation and Functional Safety phases were independently assessed and validated by TÜV SÜD, marking a major milestone on our path to safely launching Freight-Only (driverless) commercial operations at scale this year.
