In the spring of 2014, the world’s largest observation wheel, spanning 550-ft tall, was opened to the public in Paradise, Nevada. Known as the Las Vegas High Roller, the giant wheel is composed of 28 spherical cabins offering a panoramic view of Las Vegas. GWY is proud to have played a significant role in the ambitious construction of the High Roller that began in 2011. Co-founder Gene Mitchell provided onsite training and consulting to the skilled ironworkers from Local 433 and American Bridge Co.
