April 2025 Employee of the Month Brandy Coffelt is the NFC Program Operations Coordinator. Brandy is always willing to help anyone who asks. She has made the swap shop and client storage areas more user friendly for our clients. If she is asked a question, she normally has the correct answer or knows where to retrieve the information. I know she has dedicated 20+ years to FSH and has worn many hats during her career. She uses those past job experiences to help better FSH daily. We truly appreciate all she does to help keep NFC on track. She is always willing to share her knowledge when needed. It is so nice to have someone you can go to, to get help when you don’t know where else to turn. I have also noticed that she always greets everyone and knows so many staff. Brandy, please keep that contagious attitude and smile! We need more people like you who make FSH a place people want to work at. #EmployeeShoutOut #Appreciation #FultonMO

Willie is the SLP SAIII, who has worked at FSH for 20 plus years! Willie is always willing to go above and beyond to help our staff and clients. During the winter months we experienced an ice storm and Willie took it upon himself to pick up staff in need of a ride. Then once he made it to work he went outside and salted all the front walkways so staff could enter the building safely. He is friendly and takes pride in his job. Willie always has a bright smile and a warm greeting for all during passing. He takes his time to mentor the new staff as well as seasoned staff. Willie leads by example, and that is a breath of fresh air. I’m sure if you ask ANYONE they will speak more and more compliments about this amazing staff who has dedicated most of his adult life to serve our clients and hospital. #StaffAppreciation

Fulton State Hospital is pleased to announce our second C.N.A. graduate class! These individuals were hand-picked to attend this class that is held on campus grounds. Each of the students took part in an intense 6-week program that included an 800+ page textbook, lectures, tests, patient care skills practice, and clinicals. After graduating from the class, the students are eligible to take a 75-question test and perform a skills test through Health and Senior Services. Upon successful completion of those tests the student becomes a Certified Nursing Assistant. Congratulations to each and every one of you for taking on this next chapter! #graduate #HealthCare #FultonMO

Fulton State Hospital Employee of the Month March 2025 Jarvis Spencer is the Technology Services Architect for Fulton State Hospital. Jarvis started his career in 2004 as a SSCA. Jarvis has been instrumental in all aspects of technology oversight at the facility. This includes not only looking at new technology but upgrading and repairing many of the technology systems as needed. His current task is taking on the hospitals new scheduling and time clock system next year. Jarvis has been working behind the scenes with meetings and phone calls. Getting things ordered and organized for this to happen has been a never-ending process. Jarvis is always getting asked to get more data for this to happen and does it without complaint. He works closely with the CEO, CFO, OA IT, OA FMDC and outside vendors as needed. Jarvis has earned a strong positive reputation with all departments at FSH and seen as the “go to” person when questions about technology arises, but he is also just a great resource for everything about FSH. Jarvis is always improving his technical skills and open to all trainings. Perhaps the strongest strength Jarvis brings to FSH his willingness to help any staff and is always willing to help with any project. One coworker said Jarvis has spent his entire career at FSH and it shows! His knowledge and dedication make him an unmatched resource that we are so blessed to have. To boot, Jarvis is just an exceptional person all around. Not only does he regularly assist with all the major technology at our facility, but you will also often find him training and assisting our front-line supervisors and staff in whatever technology struggle they have. There's a popular saying that everyone is replaceable, but Jarvis is certainly one of a kind! We truly are a better facility because of Jarvis. Congratulations Jarvis! Thanks for choosing to work at Fulton State Hospital! #employeeappreciation
