The BATTERY 2030+ community is welcoming young scientists in a wide range of disciplines to apply to take part in a connected workshop on June 3rd 2025. Application deadline April 25th The YSE will engage young scientists (no more than 7 years after Ph.D.) to express their ideas about the future battery research landscape by providing input on the BATTERY 2030+ roadmap and curricula. We will accept up to 50 young scientists in every city Politecnico di Torino Vrije Universiteit Brussel Warsaw University of Technology, Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens) Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC and Uppsala University, Department of Chemistry - Ångström Focusing on these areas, 1) Novelties in the battery area: e.g. solid-state batteries, Si-anodes, advanced lithium-ion batteries, smart functionalities, etc. 2) Sustainability, recycling, second life, circular economy, etc. 3) Industry and EU regulations, commercialization of products, sustainable production processes, etc.
