About us
FRONTLINE is investigative journalism that questions, explains and changes our world. We tell the stories others can’t or won’t — from the rise of the NSA’s domestic surveillance dragnet, to the hidden history of the NFL and concussions, to the secret reality of rape on the job for immigrant women. Our investigations have helped breathe new life into terrorism cold cases, freed innocent people from jail, prompted U.N. resolutions, and spurred both policy and social change. We’ve been American television’s top long-form news and current affairs series since 1983, and we’ve won every major journalism and broadcasting award, including 82 Emmy Awards and 20 Peabody Awards. You can watch more than 200 of our documentaries online, for free, any time — and you can find our original digital reporting, interactives and analysis everywhere you are. At FRONTLINE, we answer to no one but you.

The internationally acclaimed documentary "Antidote" — a stunning and immersive look at the cost of opposing Russian President Vladimir Putin — will have its U.S. broadcast premiere on May 6 on FRONTLINE. From Emmy Award-winning filmmaker James Jones, "Antidote" chronicles the lives of Christo Grozev, a Bulgarian investigative journalist whose reporting has exposed hundreds of Russian spies, assassins, and those involved in the poisoning of opposition leader Alexei Navalny; and Evgenia Kara-Murza, the wife of prominent political activist Vladimir Kara-Murza, who was poisoned twice and sentenced to 25 years in a Russian prison. The Guardian calls the film “essential viewing” and The Hollywood Reporter calls it “a real life thriller.” The film is a Passion Pictures and Bellingcat Production for FRONTLINE in association with Impact Partners, Channel 4 and M4 Studio. FRONTLINE and The Associated Press’ new feature documentary “2000 Meters to Andriivka” was honored this weekend by the CPH:DOX jury with the F:ACT Award, an accolade that recognizes films blending documentary storytelling and investigative journalism. The Copenhagen film festival’s jurors called the documentary “a masterpiece in filmmaking: a haunting, multi layered portrayal of war.” 2000 Meters to Andriivka is the second feature film from the Oscar®-winning team behind “20 Days in Mariupol” — Ukrainian filmmaker and Pulitzer Prize-winning AP journalist Mstyslav Chernov, producer and editor Michelle Mizner and producer Raney Aronson. It was co-produced by Alex Babenko and composed by Sam Slater. Learn more about the CPH:DOX award winners here: https://lnkd.in/ewMvU32v
