Congratulations to our executive director, Brianna Mosier, on being selected for the prestigious Business Leads Fellowship Program! We are incredibly proud to have Flint & Genesee represented in the latest cohort of this exceptional U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation initiative. This achievement reflects both Brianna's leadership and our organization's deep commitment to strengthening the education and workforce pipeline in Genesee County. Recently, Brianna went out to Washington, D.C., to kick off this cohort for the program. There, she met leaders from around the nation who were all focusing on the same work and was able to learn, collaborate, and connect to better help direct our efforts in the region.

Through the Flinterns program, we are helping students explore the area, grow as young professionals, and gain important contacts that they could use for their future career growth. We can't wait to kick off the 2025 cohort this June!

2024 was a big year, and our division, alongside the others at the Flint & Genesee Group, accomplished a lot! Here are some highlights: We graduated 444 students from its TeenQuest program and helped 209 teens secure jobs through its subsequent Summer Youth Initiative program. It also saw 450 working professionals attend 21 workshops and eight new local leaders graduate from Leadership Flint & Genesee. Finally, 329 people signed up to learn more about living in Genesee County through the Make Your Move program, and nine secured employment as a result.
