This post isn’t about Ergotron or any of the exciting new things we’re launching—it’s about something that happened yesterday that hit a little closer to home. Yesterday was #NationalPuppyDay - and while it started like any other day, it could’ve ended much differently. It was an unusually windy afternoon, and unbeknownst to us, our fence gate had blown open. Usually, I ignore the gate sensor notifications since they often trigger falsely in high winds. But for some reason, I felt the need to check. When I called for our two dogs, Libby (our lab) and Radar (our hound), there was no joyful stampede—just silence. Moments later, I got a text alert from their Fi collars: they had left the designated safety zone. We jumped into action—marked them as “Lost” in the app, tracked their movement, and hopped in our cars. Within 10 minutes, we found them over 1.5 miles away. A few well-timed calls of “Want to go for a car ride?” brought them safely back to us. As my husband said, “I've never regretted that Fi subscription.” Yesterday, it likely saved our dogs.
