On March 22, Fenway Health CEO Jordina Shanks joined healthcare leaders at Hyde Park’s first-ever Health & Wellness Summit, coming together to tackle some of the biggest challenges in community health. From addressing Boston’s healthcare deserts to championing LGBTQIA+ competent care for The Pryde residents, the conversation centered on equity, access, and advocacy. ✨ Jordina shared how Fenway Health is working to break down barriers and ensure everyone gets the care they deserve, no matter who they are or where they live, love, and thrive. The event explored the impact of federal policy changes and funding shifts on LGBTQ+ health equity, highlighted the commitment of community organizations, and concluded with the announcement of an official LGBTQ+ Health Awareness Week Resolution. ✨

Cornelius Baker and the Bayard Rustin Award for Courage to Dr. Cassandra Pierre, honoring their extraordinary contributions to our community.
