Someone you work with needs encouragement today. Someone in your home needs encouragement today. Someone in your neighborhood needs encouragement today. In a world where isolation can feel overwhelming, community shines as a beacon of hope, crafting a nurturing space where encouragement flourishes. It holds a healing power that resonates deep within, igniting hearts and sparking transformation. I am fortunate to witness the profound impact of uplifting others during their darkest moments, watching them bloom with newfound strength. And I've personally felt the power of encouragement in countless ways: 💡believing in my ideas and dreams, ☕listening, 📶highlighting my strengths, 🙋and being present for the big moments. I was so blessed, for example, when so many showed up and supported us as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. Pictured here is Robyn Cenizal, who traveled from Florida and Susan Albergo from Chicago. They are both incredibly busy individuals, with much they are managing. Yet they took the time to show up and wow what a gift that was. The need for encouragement is urgent and widespread. Who can you show up for today and make a meaningful difference in this practical way?

Our COO, Omaira Gonzalez, shared that she always considered herself someone who could handle stress well—she could thrive under pressure and have a high tolerance for challenges. But here’s the reality: No matter how well she managed stress, her body and mind always found a way to remind her when it’s time to slow down. If she ignored the signs, she'd start feeling headaches, fatigue, and even struggle in areas she usually excels in. But stress doesn’t just drain us physically—it affects our emotions and decision-making, too. High stress impacts the amygdala—the part of our brain responsible for processing emotions and reactions. When overwhelmed, we’re more prone to react instead of respond, making us less patient, less focused, and more emotionally drained. As leaders, we need clarity, emotional intelligence, and resilience—but when stress hijacks our brains, it becomes harder to lead with wisdom and composure. So here’s your reminder: It’s okay to take time to recharge. ✅ Rest without guilt. ✅ Go for a walk. ✅ Watch that movie you keep putting off. ✅ Do something that fills your cup. Because a full cup overflows, while an empty one has nothing left to give. Take care of yourself so you can lead with strength, clarity, and emotional resilience. How do you prioritize rest in your leadership journey? Let’s talk in the comments! Check out this video on what Stress does to your brain. #Leadership #SelfCare #EmotionalIntelligence #SustainableSuccess #LeadWell

Are you ready to seize tomorrow and accomplish the dreams God has placed in your heart? When you look at the bridge to your future, are you focusing on the ropes or the holes? As a visionary, Dr. Alicia La Hoz shares that she has learned that to live out a dream, you must learn to live by faith and take risks. Boldly take the needed steps even when the vision isn't super crystalized with all the details outlined. It also means not having all the resources needed in hand. Invite other people to be part of the journey with you. Talk to those you trust, to your team, build an advisory group or team and as you talk listen to their counsel and be open to having them help shape the vision. Plan, prepare, and then take the leap - don't waste your efforts avoiding loss or turning away from the future that God has planned for you. Dr. La Hoz shares how she was inspired by her friend Karen Vergara’s (pictured here) experience in Medellin, Columbia, where she planned an amazing adventure for a few families. It was truly magical for all of who attended. What risks do you need to take today to see the vision God has for you become a reality? Share your thoughts and let's encourage each other to step out in faith. #TakeTheLeap #GodsPlan #DreamBig

Social support. It's one of the top factors in building resilience. It's far too crucial to leave to chance. Be intentional in cultivating connections with people you can count on when times get tough. Who can you turn to and rely on to be there for you in times of tragedy and disaster? Such relationships and support help you stay resilient as you navigate life's storms.

April Fools’ Day—a time-honored tradition of pranks, fake announcements, and the classic “JK!” (Just Kidding). But imagine if we led our teams the same way—promising one thing, then flipping the script with a "Just kidding!" How long before trust disappears? How long before no one believes a word you say? Great leadership isn’t about surprises—it’s about consistency, transparency, and follow-through. If you want a team that trusts you, don’t play games with their expectations. This April Fools’ Day, leave the “JK” for harmless fun—but in leadership, be the real deal. #Leadership #TrustMatters #LeadWithIntegrity #NoMoreJK Check out this blog about "Trust". https://hubs.ly/Q03cDnyc0

COO of Family Bridges and Bridges XL shares that growing up in a Puerto Rican household, communication often felt like a game of charades. Her mother’s directions were vague but full of meaning—"Mira nena, búscame aquella cosa que está encima de aquello, allá en aquel cuarto" (Translation: "Hey, can you get me that thing that is on top of that thing over in that room"). If unsure, she'd guide her with a subtle lip gesture, turning it into a scavenger hunt! Over time, she became fluent in implied communication, understanding her cues without needing explicit words. But outside her home, this style left others confused. She had to relearn communication, ensuring clarity while still embracing Her cultural roots. Our communication styles are shaped by our upbringing and culture. If we want to build deeper connections—whether at work, with friends, or in new environments—we must recognize these differences, embrace curiosity, and foster open dialogue. How has your culture shaped the way you communicate? Let’s talk in the comments! https://hubs.li/Q03bcNSC0 . https://hubs.li/Q03bcTy50 .
