About us
Faith & Family Hospice is a caring family-owned hospice with an uncompromising dedication that is focused on the comfort and quality-of-life of our patients and families. We pride ourselves in our core values of putting patients and families first, and supporting our staff who consistently make this vision a reality. We are a family owned organization choosing to focus only on the specialized care that is hospice - and the multidimensional physical, emotional, spiritual and family concerns that often go with it. Coping with a life-limiting illness can be an overwhelming experience that warrants an individualized interdisciplinary approach. This is where our clinicians excel. Your hospice plan of care includes Nursing, Social Work, Aide Care, Chaplaincy, Volunteer support and oversight of a Hospice Physician. We also offer specialized complementary therapies beyond what is typically covered under the hospice benefit - Music Therapy, Pet Therapy. Reiki, Legacy Projects and unlimited Bereavement support. We are honored to journey beside you at a time when compassionate care and trusted support matter most.

When someone we love is seriously ill, the most important support we can offer isn’t always what we do but how we plan. On Wednesday, April 30th at 10:00 AM, I’ll be joining Laurie Rhodes of Faith & Family Hospice for a heartfelt and informative seminar designed for caregivers, adult children, and loved ones navigating hospice care and legal planning. Too often, families are left making urgent decisions during moments of emotional crisis. Our goal is to change that. Together, Laurie and I will share real-world stories and practical tools to help you: ✅ Understand what hospice truly offers—and what it doesn’t ✅ Recognize the right time to begin care and how to take action ✅ Learn which legal documents are essential for timely, compassionate decision-making ✅ Avoid the delays and distress that come with lack of planning ✅ Discover how families, attorneys, and care teams can work together to honor someone’s final wishes Whether you’re currently in the role of caregiver or simply planning ahead, this is your opportunity to learn how medical and legal planning can work in harmony to provide comfort, clarity, and peace. 📍 Grice Community Room at the Marlborough Public Library 🕙 Wednesday, April 30th at 10:00 AM No registration required. Just come as you are. Because when families are anchored by thoughtful care and legal clarity, they’re free to focus on what truly matters: dignity, presence, and love. #HospiceCare #EstatePlanning #CaregiverSupport #AdvancePlanning #DignityInCare #EndOfLifeCare #CommunityEducation

💜HAPPY SOCIAL WORK MONTH💜 “Be the person who cares. Be the person who makes the effort, the person who loves without hesitation. Be the person who bares it all, the person who never shies away from the depth of their feeling, or the intensity of their hope. Be the person who believes in the softness of the world, in the goodness of other people, in the beauty of being open and untethered and trusting. Be the person who takes the chance, who refuses to hide. Be the person who makes people feel seen, the person who shows up. Be the person who cares.” Bianca Sparacino - The Strength In Our Scars Artist: Jim Dine #HospiceSocialWork #SocialWorkMonth #nationalsocialworkmonth #socialworkersrock

We are beyond privileged to be able to carry out our mission of enhancing quality of life to our patients and support to families when they need it most. 'You get to a point when you know it's time.' Two grateful sisters share their experience of choosing Faith & Family Hospice for their wonderful mother whose favorite song was 'You Are My Sunshine.'

CareOne Sharon gets it ~ #musicistherapy
Passionate Program Director | Enhancing the lives of seniors through engaging programs and meaningful experiences!
Music is more than just sound—it’s a powerful tool that transcends memory loss, bringing joy, comfort, and connection to seniors. A familiar melody can spark recognition, encourage movement, and even reduce anxiety. I’ve seen firsthand how music transforms moments, whether through sing-alongs, dance, or simply the smile that comes with hearing a beloved tune. At CareOne Sharon my goal for providing music programs is not just for entertainment—it’s therapy, communication, and a bridge to cherished memories. #MusicAndMemory #SeniorLiving #MusicTherapy #MeaningfulMoments

“People who have advance directives in place are more likely to receive the care they want.” It’s never too early to have the important conversation of care at the end-of-life, and it’s far easier to have that conversation before it is too late. #hospicecanhelp
In Arlington Magazine, Stephanie Kanowitz writes about her fiercely independent mother who had middle-stage dementia but refused to discuss care options with her, her only daughter. One day, Mom was rushed to the hospital after suffering a major health attack. It was later determined she could no longer live safely at home. Kanowitz had to learn quickly about the complex care system for the elderly, and she shares her experiences and information. Her number one piece of advice: discuss in advance, care and treatment options so you’re not left guessing when the time comes. Five Wishes is an excellent way to get started. https://ow.ly/aOSE50ULWke #advancedirective #fivewishes #advancecareplanning #assistedliving #seniorcare #eldercare
