🆕 Well not exactly "new" - but we completely rewrote our EAS Submit documentation to clarify the prerequisites for app store submissions. We also improved the local and CI/CD setup guides for Android and iOS. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gjHYhUtf

💰 React Native apps have the highest LTV of any mobile app framework. This is according to RevenueCat's massive report on subscription apps in 2025. Here are the details from the report: When looking at Year 1 Realized LTV per Payer, React Native outperforms other frameworks with a median of $22.80. The top 10% of React Native apps gather an average of $85.26/user. So if you want to convert downloads into customers and you want to drive higher LTV, React Native is the way. 😱 How Infinite Red, Inc. ships 230% faster with EAS Workflows Running end-to-end tests on every PR is a best practice — but in React Native, long native builds often get in the way. Infinite Red cut their CI time from 20 minutes to 6 minutes by combining the following: ✅ EAS Workflows ✅ Fingerprints to skip unchanged native builds ✅ EAS Update for JS-only deploys ✅ Maestro for mobile E2E testing They’ve shared their full workflow and YAML examples in this blog post from Tyler Williams. If your team is looking to speed up CI/CD without cutting corners on quality, this is worth a read: https://lnkd.in/gqR7p4gf

🏆 Another Expo app hit #1 in the app store!!! This one is special... Yesterday Skylight Social hit #1 in the app store in the entertainment category. That means beating out goliaths like TikTok, Netflix, Max...ect. There is nothing more validating and exciting for us than seeing Expo apps reach the top. But this one is special because Skylight Social was the first company to make a big bet with EAS Hosting. On April 16th we'll be joined by Reed Harmeyer, the technical founder of Skylight Social, to ask him what it feels like to be #1, and how he built the app with Expo, and what his experience has been like with EAS Hosting...and whatever else y'all can think of! https://lnkd.in/gE9T3_-j

Skylight Social hit #1 in the entertainment section of the app store beating TikTok, Max, Netflix and other incumbents. They also rank #7 overall. Which is amazing. In this stream we'll be joined by the co-founder of Skylight Social to learn more about what they've built and how they built it with Expo. Skylight Social is one of the earliest and most aggressive adopters of EAS Hosting. So we'll dig into their experience with our hosting service in addition to everything else. If you don't know Skylight Social is basically TikTok built on the AT Protocol (like Bluesky). Which means your content and connections aren't locked into one platform—they exist on this open network. Switch to another atproto platform and your audience, content, and followers are right there with you. It's amazing. When we signed up for Skylight Social our video content from Bluesky was already there. As were all our followers!

𝝠 Expo is on Broadway! 📸 Times Square isn't exactly touching grass, but if you can step away from your keyboard to snap a selfie with our billboard we'll happily send you some swag. 🤠 Bonus points if the naked cowboy is in your snap. Thank you to Brex for sharing the big 🍎 with Expo!
