🔍 Unveiling the Visual Identity of the Minority Report Project! 🌍🏙️ Our brand identity reflects the essence of Minority Report - a project dedicated to enhancing climate #Resilience through #PeopleCentric, #Predictive digital technologies. 🔸 The logo captures our deep dive into #data, predictive systems, and co-creation and it represents #cities and #buildings which are at the heart of our mission. 🔸 The theme image is essentially split into two contrasting halves to visually communicate the stark difference between a future where proactive, people-centric climate and disaster #mitigation strategies are employed versus one where such #interventions are absent. The overall concept and colour choices work together to provide a clear, immediate understanding of the project’s purpose: to highlight the imperative of using predictive, people-centric digital technologies and #sustainable practices to avert the worst impacts of #environmental and #climate disasters. Funded by the EU, this project brings together cutting-edge #AI, #DigitalTwins, and #energy simulations to safeguard cities from climate change threats like heatwaves, wildfires, floods, and earthquakes. 🙋♀️ People are at the core of the Minority Report! Co-creation and #stakeholder engagement are indispensable elements of the project, informing the development of contextually relevant, useful tools to enhance the #resilience of complex #urban communities in three #pilot sites – Patras, Dublin, and Wellington 🌍 What has been done so far to kick-start the co-creative process? 🔸 In November 2024, all project partners met in person in Dublin for the first time. 🔸 Prospex Institute vzw, Trinity College Dublin and Dublin City Council organised a “walk-shop” in Dublin’s Ringsend community to learn more about the pilot site location through the eyes of its community members 🔸 A detailed stakeholder map was co-designed with partners, identifying local stakeholders across all three pilot sites that are relevant to the project’s needs What’s coming up next? Prospex Institute vzw is working closely with project partners and pilot site representative, including, Region Of Western Greece, Dublin City Council, Wellington City Council, Trinity College Dublin, University College London, IES Ltd., The University of Auckland, Urban Intelligence, University of Canterbury, and STAM S.r.l., to develop the first set of engagement activities tailored to each local context. These activities will gather insights from potential end-users, helping to shape the Minority Report platform, as well as local community members, to better understand their behaviours in the face of natural hazards and incorporate these into the MR tools. 👉 Stay tuned to hear more about these exciting upcoming events!

Greetings from Dublin! 👋 We are meeting here for the 2nd General Assembly and we are reviewing our #progress to making sure we are well on track with our #plan. This is also the first in-person gathering of the project! Meeting in Dublin was a great opportunity to visit one of the #demonstration sites of the project! 🏙 Stay tuned to learn more about the outcomes of our meeting!
