Parents, children, educators and community members came together over dinner to share the schools literacy all grade project book - The WishTree by K. Applegate. The story is about a tree named Red who has seen it all. Until a new family moves in. Not everyone is welcoming, and Red's experiences as a wishtree are more important than ever. With a focus on compassion, friendship, and tolerance, Wishtree offers important messages on inclusivity and community action. The students’ school projects were creatively displayed throughout the school, from Prek - 8, sharing their wishes & perspectives of the book.❤️ A true community experience. 💌 The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, Vermont along with area restaurants and business contributed to the community meal of ~450 people!
