#EnergyVault has appointed Dylan Hixon to its Board of Directors, effective March 31, 2025. Dylan brings decades of experience investing in advanced technologies through Arden Road Investments, with a portfolio that includes SpaceX, Niantic, and other deep tech companies. He replaces co-founder Bill Gross, who will transition to an advisory role focused on gravity #EnergyStorage and its applications for data centers. This change comes as Energy Vault continues to scale globally—from our battery storage growth in Australia to the near-completion of the Calistoga Resiliency Center in California, the largest green hydrogen long-duration energy storage project in the U.S. We thank Bill for his leadership since Energy Vault’s founding in 2017 and welcome Dylan as we continue advancing energy #StorageSolutions around the world!

Eagle Point Credit Closes Financing with Energy Vault as it Commissions the Calistoga Resiliency Center, the Largest Utility-Scale, Ultra-Long Duration #EnergyStorage Facility in the World #EnergyVault has secured $28 million in project financing from Eagle Point Credit Management to support the Calistoga Resiliency Center (CRC)—a hybrid #GreenHydrogen and battery storage facility designed to keep power on during wildfire-related Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events. Key details: • 293 MWh of energy storage • 8.5 MW peak output • Designed to run 48 hours continuously in island mode • 10-year fixed price tolling agreement with PG&E • Uses green hydrogen fuel cells + B-VAULT™ battery system • Controlled by VaultOS™ for black-start and grid-forming • Now under commissioning with full operations expected in Q2 2025 This project is the first step in Energy Vault’s Own & Operate strategy, providing long-term revenue and on-demand resiliency for the Calistoga community. The facility will significantly reduce the risk of power interruption from wildfires, the transaction includes a 10-year fixed price tolling agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company, providing a stable, long-term investment grade revenue stream.
