Accept PE investment dollars and you very likely will need to continue working at the company for 1-5 years after you take PE money. At the annual meeting of the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) of American Trucking Associations, Inc. we discussed the need to have a new connection between the tractor and trailer that provides added power, high speed data connections, and is more secure from cyber attacks than what we have been using for the last 75 years. The connection needs to be adopted by all parties in the industry, tractor OEMs, trailer OEMs, ABS suppliers, other trailer electronics suppliers such as telematics, cameras, weight sensing, tire pressure sensing, and more. https://lnkd.in/gkkacdYz

Tuesday, 11 March I was a guest on the Dave Nemo show on SiriusXM radio. It's no laughing matter, but serious business. The current connection between the tractor and trailer is the weakest link.
