We bring research, data analysis, engineering, and project management expertise to a diverse range of customers including edtech companies and their investors, the U.S. Department of Education, foundations, leading research organizations, and state and local education agencies. Over the last twenty years, we have worked with school systems to conduct dozens of rigorous experiments. Exciting news! IES is investing over $3.5M to support four new research teams joining the Digital Learning Platforms to Enable Efficient Education Research Network (SEERNet)! These teams will leverage digital learning platforms like ASU’s Learning @ Scale, E-TRIALS / ASSISTments, Terracotta / Canvas, and Kinetic / OpenStax to conduct groundbreaking research on education, retention, and learning interventions. From exploring the impact of online vs. on-campus programs to improving math practice design and tackling academic procrastination, these projects aim to enhance learning outcomes for students everywhere. We had an amazing time at the AERA 2024 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia! The conference theme, "Dismantling Racial Injustice and Constructing Educational Possibilities: A Call to Action," truly resonated with our mission. We presented our latest findings on the CREATE study, connected with our partners, and attended impactful sessions on intersectionality, QuantCrit, SEL, and more.
