    Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. Travel reveals the world in all its contrasts—its vast beauty and quiet fragility, thriving traditions and modern challenges, places that feel untouched and those shaped by change. Along the way, we meet communities working to protect what makes their home unique, finding ways to balance preservation and progress, resilience and renewal. Their efforts remind us that sustainability isn’t a final achievement, but an ongoing commitment, shaped by small, intentional choices every day. Inspired by our travels, our tours are built on three fundamental pillars of Responsible Travel—protecting the environment, supporting local communities, and promoting animal welfare. That might mean hiking sections of the Trans Bhutan Trail, where every step helps maintain the historic route and sustain the communities along it. It’s sharing a meal made from locally grown ingredients in Peru, where our visit helps support small-scale farmers and artisans. It’s choosing experiences that prioritize animal welfare, ensuring encounters with wildlife are ethical and respectful. There’s no perfect formula for sustainable travel—only progress, learning, and doing our part to leave the places we explore better than we found them. He holds an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and worked most recently as Chief Customer Officer at Popfly. David has founded, grown, and sold two successful businesses. A fun fact? He’s fascinated with how things work and loves taking objects apart to try and put them back together (think bicycles, lawn mowers, or toaster ovens).   “The strong reputation of EF's culture was a big sell, as it's important for me to wake up excited to go to work every day!
