April is Autism Acceptance Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the autistic community! Today, we're spotlighting Kaylin, a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on our Autism/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team. She shares a recent moment with someone she supports that helped build confidence and trust! 💛 “I recently worked with someone who didn’t want help changing clothes for planned physical activity. Instead, she only preferred help from her caregiver. Understanding her need for comfort and independence, I encouraged her to give it a try with my support, offering something she liked as a little extra motivation. She happily agreed and together we completed the task, boosting her confidence and independence!
