As we wrap up the semester, we wanted to highlight some of our community events from the past few months. 🌱 DECC members volunteered with Keep Durham Beautiful to pick up 88 pounds of litter on the West Ellerbee Creek Trail! 🧪🥼 Through a partnership with Duke Femmes+ Connect, DECC members promoted STEM learning for elementary schoolers by constructing mini wind-powered cars! We had a blast at these events and look forward to what next semester has in store.

This event is a special opportunity for DECC alumni and current students to connect, share stories, and build meaningful relationships across the energy and climate space. Whether you’re local to Durham or planning to be in town, we’d be thrilled to have you join us. Happy-hour-style dinner will be provided, and we will also play the Duke game, so feel free to wear your jerseys!
