The California ISO's 2024-2025 Draft Transmission Plan proposes 31 new projects totaling $4.8 billion to address California’s rapidly growing energy demand, driven by data centers and the state’s clean energy goals. Of that, $4.6 billion will be allocated for reliability-driven projects, including new transmission lines in the Bay Area to support increasing electricity needs. The plan aims to connect 76 gigawatts of new generation by 2039 from solar, wind, and offshore energy resources. The CAISO intends to meet with stakeholders this spring and adopt the final plan in May. Together, we build! This weekend we sponsored and participated in Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento's annual #WomenBuild event. Our team spent the morning at their newest development in Folsom, painting, caulking, and installing siding on a community of ten new homes for local women and their families in need. Women Build is a month-long event in March where over 600 women of all different industries and backgrounds join #HFH on the jobsite to make a lasting impact on the lives of families in need by building more accessible housing in the Greater Sacramento and Yolo regions.
