ABOUT DOG HAUS: Dog Haus is a craft-casual hot dog concept known for its gourmet takes on hot dogs, sausages and smash burgers; premium shakes and soft-serve ice cream; and a beer program that spotlights local brews. Founded by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and André Vener, three friends who share a passion for creativity, quality and commitment to community, the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010. The fast-casual concept has since garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef Haus Dogs and hand crafted proprietary Haus Sausages, as well as the 100% genetically tested, humanely raised Black Angus beef using no hormones and no antibiotics – never ever. All dogs, sausages and burgers are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. In 2024, Dog Haus delivered results that outperformed the broader restaurant industry by nearly DOUBLE digits. +5.3% Store Comp Traffic Growth — with even stronger comp sales growth. vs. -(3.3%) Restaurant Industry Traffic Decline (source: Black Box Intelligence) Early in 2024, as industry headwinds began to build, we made the bold decision to reduce our budget for selling new franchise territories by ~90% and redirect all of it back into our existing stores and franchisees, doubling down on the fundamentals. Our Bold & Perfect initiative focused on the core drivers of operational excellence and marketing innovation: 🌭 Monthly store visits and heightened training with a relentless focus on guest experience, food quality, store condition, and cleanliness. 🌭 myHaus: a world-class, custom-built online franchisee portal for operations and marketing support, assets, and training. 🌭 Revamped supply chain, including new partners and leadership to drive efficiency. 🌭 Enhanced tech platform with expanded professional support and new implementations, including a mobile application, loyalty platform, kiosks, and QR code ordering. 🌭 Shifted to a bolder, more focused social and advertising strategy — with the help of the one and only Jake Paul. In addition to comp traffic and sales growth, we opened a record number of locations, while posting some of our lowest development costs in company history. No better example than our newest store in Wicker Park, Chicago, which opened in December. To top it off, despite the large budget reduction to franchise territory sales, we posted a record-breaking year for purchased franchise territories, achieving a ~3x increase over 2023! Investing in our fundamentals paid off. A huge thank you to our franchisees across the country and especially our Franchisee Leadership Council, Board of Directors, corporate team, and industry partners for your partnership, leadership, and camaraderie during my first full year.
