Catch Namrata A. at #PMWC25 today sharing more about the evolution of diffusion models for protein design and what we've been up to at Diffuse Bio! We are looking forward to a great "AI for Emerging Therapeutics Showcase" also featuring James Zou (Stanford), Sam Sinai (Dyno Therapeutics), and Rishi Bedi (Y-Trap).

What an epic JPM! Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Techbio Mixer last week where we sampled iconic dishes from SF and Napa Valley wines! 🍷 Want to keep the party going? Follow us or connect with us to stay on top of the latest in de novo protein design and of course snag an invite to future events! Shout-out to our amazing co-hosts WhiteLab Genomics, Modulari-T Bio, Pioneer Fund, and Middleware , in particular David Cotnoir-White, Stephanie Mok, Nathan Lee, Dave Messina, and Laduram Vishnoi. #JPM25 PC: Dave Messina

We are looking forward to connecting with many of you at JPM! Namrata A. and Anna Chase will be on hand to discuss Diffuse's approach to de novo protein design. Message us to find time to meet or to join us at an exclusive food and wine tour of San Francisco co-hosted with our friends at Pioneer Fund, Modulari-T Bio, and WhiteLab Genomics! #JPM2025 #AI #Proteindesign #Biologics

Join us January 15 from 5-8 PM during the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference to eat and drink our way through the best that the City by the Bay has to offer in a casual setting while forging connections with those who build, fund, and partner with innovative techbio and biotech companies! 🥟 🦀 🍕 🌉 Scan the code to apply or schedule a meeting with us for an invitation. If you’re curious to learn more about our de novo protein design capabilities, please message Anna Chase or find us in the JPM BIO Partnering portal to schedule a meeting. The event is co-hosted by Diffuse Bio (GenAI for protein design), Pioneer Fund (investing in early stage health and bio companies), Modulari-T Bio (smart receptors for cell therapy), and WhiteLab Genomics (AI for development of gene and cell therapy). Our venue is sponsored by Middleware (AI for tech stack observability). #JPM2025 #AI #Proteindesign

Tremendous progress by the Diffuse Bio team building at the intersection of generative AI and protein design. A seven orders of magnitude improvement in hit rate (i.e., binding to the target of interest) than industry-standard discovery approaches. And it’s just the beginning…
I’m excited to share some of our progress at Diffuse Bio today, about a year and a half into our journey! At Diffuse, we’re building generative AI for protein design. Our mission is to build AI that engineers new and useful proteins with unprecedented control and accuracy. Today we introduce Diffuse StructGen-1 (DSG-1), a new foundation model for protein design. We prompted DSG-1 to design nanobody binders, a therapeutically relevant class of proteins. Remarkably, DSG-1 designs bound the target with a 3% hit rate, about seven orders of magnitude better than industry-standard discovery approaches. Importantly, we are able to design strong binders (<=10nM range) – a significant advance over previous work. More details can be found in our blog post linked below! We are in the early stages of AI development in molecular design, and we envision a future where AI enables rapid and accurate design of any protein. If our mission resonates with you please reach out at hello@diffuse.bio.

Protein design often feels like shooting darts while blindfolded in the dark, so getting to Diffuse Bio's hit rate in 2 years time is incredible!

Pretty insane results from Diffuse Bio for applying generative AI to protein design. 7 order-of-magnitude improvement vs. the status quo! https://lnkd.in/e86HgDDT

I could not be more excited about these results, about Namrata A. as a founder, and what this means for the future of research and discovery.
