In 2011, Dickey Manufacturing worked with a talented artist on a piece to commemorate our 100th year anniversary. The artist, Michiel Muyres, was at that time studying at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands. Michiel received 100,000 Dickey security seals to complete the task, and his works of art still hang proudly at our headquarters in St. Charles, Illinois. We recently caught up with Michiel and asked if he could share his memories of using Dickey’s seals for such a unique application. “Security seals played a significant role in shaping my artistic journey,” he recalled fondly, “as they became the foundation for many other creations.
