About us
The Lions, much like the city and community they represent, are built on a blue-collar work ethic that values hustle and conviction. Ford Field, the home of the Lions since 2002 in the heart of Detroit, is part of a vibrant sports and entertainment district featuring all four major professional sports franchises. Ford Field is also home to a dedicated and passionate multi-generational fan base reflective of the innovation, creativity and drive synonymous with Detroit. Under the leadership of Sheila Hamp, the great granddaughter of Henry Ford, the Lions have ushered in an era of rebirth focused on creating an inclusive and equitable experience for employees, partners and fans. Building off the rich and diverse history of the city, the Lions embrace transparency and value contribution from all areas of the organization. We believe in the power of a pride, and acknowledge winning together takes understanding, acceptance, and teamwork. We believe in our “we” culture and are committed to building a new tradition that Detroit and Michigan can be proud of. One Pride. For All.

Detroit Tradition Continues: The Detroit Lions and Ford Motor Company recently announced they are extending the stadium naming rights agreement for one of the most recognizable partnerships of its kind in sports. Ford Field has been the home of the Detroit Lions since 2002, making it the second longest tenured naming rights partnership in the NFL. The multiyear agreement ensures the name of the building will continue as will the investment from both organizations in downtown Detroit. Read More: https://lnkd.in/ecm28HrF

Detroit Lions reposted this
A special day recently occurred in the wonderful city of Detroit as underrepresented college students in the Detroit Metro area presented two analytical projects to the Detroit Lions Football Information Dept. They worked on these projects for several months. This was the 3rd year that the Detroit Lions partnered with Strength in Numbers in giving opportunities like this to underrepresented college students. Special thanks to Caio Brighenti (Lions-Football Information Manager) & Mike Disner, the COO of the Detroit Lions for making this happen. They truly are a first-class organization.
